Art school student Jane Ni Dhulchaointigh worked on her invention full-time for 7 years. The result was Sugru – a self-setting rubber for fixing, patching and holding things together permanently. It was listed as one of the top Inventions of 2010, ahead of the iPad, by Time magazine. Jane now has her own company with 30 staff producing Sugru and you can buy it in a well-known DIY chain near you.
